White Salmon, Wash. – Skyline Hospital is celebrating the opening of its newly renovated community meeting space, kitchen and café with an open house on Tuesday, November 13 from 5 – 7 p.m. The public is invited to tour the space located in the lower level of the hospital.
The new area offers a café and community room to be used for community-related meetings, education and events – all with stunning views of the Columbia River Gorge.
“We are excited to share this remodeled space – which was originally a shelled-in basement – with our community,” said Robb Kimmes, Skyline Hospital’s chief executive officer. “This project was a long time in the making and it’s thrilling to finally bring it to fruition. We hope the community takes advantage of this local resource.”
This project was generously supported by The Firstenburg Foundation, M.J. Murdock Charitable Trust, the State of Washington, community members and businesses, Skyline Hospital employees, White Salmon-Bingen Rotary Club and the White Salmon Lions Club.
