White Salmon, WASH. – Three local civic groups recently donated to Skyline Foundation’s Expanding on Excellence capital campaign in support of Skyline Hospital’s Emergency Department renovation and expansion. The White Salmon Lions Club and Soroptimist International of Mt. Adams each contributed $10,000, and the Rotary Club of White Salmon/Bingen contributed $5,000. All funds are designated for the new Emergency Department’s Serenity Room, which is being designed to support those patients who enter Skyline Hospital’s ER due to sexual assault.
“We are grateful to these groups for their generosity and continued partnership,” said Ricky Knowles, Skyline Foundation president. “These organizations have a history of giving generously to the hospital and a passion for helping our communities.”
